Sometimes there’s this empowering sense that I KNOW the answers.
Yet it’s also right at this point that life seemingly spins around and changes the questions!
Just when you think you’ve got it nailed, you BECOME the nail.
Here’s the thing that I’ve come to understand regarding the nature of this crazy world: There are no answers, no right or wrong, no point of direction and no definition but what we allocate ourselves.
I’ve spent so many years exploring, trying to find a pattern; working my ass off to make things make sense! “This just happened so it must mean that!” At the end of the day, it hasn’t mattered how many books I’ve read, who I’ve spoken with or studied under, or how many experiences I’ve encountered…
Anyone that follows my writings will know that I love Hermetic Philosophy. I have found the Universal Principles of the Hermetics to be a Godsend in my life. The thing I truly love is how they describe the Principles and Laws that sit, governing “reality” as we know it.
However, the further I have stepped into understanding these Principles and Laws, the more I am realizing that they don’t actually provide any answers. Nor did they ever intend to. You see, when I first read the Kybalion, I was under the impression I had found the answer to life.
I believed that in thoroughly learning these Principles, I could bend them for my life empowerment and mastery.
“Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist”
This may eventually come at some stage, who knows? But for me now, the reality is that more often than not I still feel like a leaf on the wind. Some days the wind is a gentle breeze and I float about lazily feeling like I largely have control. Other days it’s gale force and I get blown to high hell.
The Laws that govern us, only govern the blueprint of us. Everything else sits outside of this blueprint in a state of Chaos!
I have discovered that the trick is, wherever I find myself, to just be there. You see, there’s a very particular reason that every time we learn the rules, the rules change.
Life is a quantum experience. It constantly shifts and the only thing that is ever certain is its changing nature. Because of this expansive, dynamic, quantum state of “reality”, just when we master something, it shifts or expands.
This is also why no matter where we find ourselves, we are always at both the beginning and end of things. At any given point, we are at a state of simultaneously starting and finishing. This is the cyclic nature of everything we are. We have always known this too, which is why The Fool is both the first and last card in the Tarot deck.
The journey of The Fool begins and ends in the exact same place because each time we obtain mastery, we begin again.
The thing to keep in mind is that we are ALWAYS at a state of mastery. No matter what’s occurring, we are putting forward the very best we can in that moment. There really is no benchmark to what is success and what is not. Any gauge or measure that we hold ourselves to is purely fabricated by us. It is fluid, dynamic and doesn’t really exist. Remember what I initially wrote: There are no answers, no right or wrong, no point of direction and no definition but what we allocate ourselves!
At the end (or the beginning depending on how you look at it), the message here is simple. There is nothing anyone can give you that will make things make sense. There is no up or down but what YOU decide for yourself. The world is a quantum matrix that responds to us, so what I scream as my truth, is MY truth.
You need to go and discover one of your own or you’ll forever be limited by the mind of the person whose truth you’re embracing!
